Articles On Redwood Adventures

2007 November 7: Article on California Weekend about Johnny Redwood and Company...

California Weekend, online magazine of choice for those visiting California, loved our cabins and wrote a glowing article about the company and our Founder John Russavage. Read it here.

"On a recent visit to the area, we had a chance to sample the new digs and, for families or multiple couples looking for reasonably priced quality lodgings, these houses are ideal. The multiple bedrooms provide room for at last two families or one very large family, and it looked to us that two or three couples could easily maintain enough privacy while sharing the kitchen and living room areas – which, by the way, are both furnished to the hilt. Divide three into $199 and you’re paying about what you’d pay for an inexpensive motel room."

2007 March 25: Article in The Washington Post about Great Travel Deals Features Redwood Adventures...

We were flattered but not surprised when The Washington Post Sunday Travel Section Article said in their regular weekly column "What's the Deal":"

"Redwood Adventures has an introductory rate of $199 a night on the newly renovated 1,200-square-foot vacation cabins in California’s Redwood National Park. The three-bedroom cabins, at Redwood Adventures Vacation Village north of Orick, California, offer full kitchens, a 24-inch television with satellite and DVD/VCR, and washer and dryer. Taxes are an extra 10 percent; cleaning fee is $50. Three are ready for occupancy, and another three will be available by May. Reduced rate is good though 2007 for any cabin booked before June 1. Usual rate will be $299 a night. Info: 866-733-9637, www.redwoodadventures.com."
